Affordable Training Services
Individual training
I host lacrosse training sessions each week for anyone looking to get their child some extra practice and reps. I focus on the fundamentals of offensive skill training, defensive skill training, and speed and agility.
Group Training
I hold weekly lacrosse small group training sessions for 3 to 6 young athletes seeking extra practice and reps. These sessions offer a reduced rate per athlete and focus on honing the fundamentals of offensive and defensive skills, along with speed and agility training.
Speed & Agility Training
I offer speed and agility training that focuses on enhancing performance through ladder drills, plyometrics, cone work, conditioning, sprinting, lateral explosive movements, directional changes, quick feet, agility exercises, jog/sprint intervals, and side slides/backpedaling. This is great for all sports.
My story
I’m Chris Winslow, and I’ve been an educator, coach, and athlete for over 20 years. I played lacrosse at Farmingdale College under Hall of Fame coach Fred Acee, competing in two JUCO National Championships before enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1992. After serving with the 2/25 Scout Snipers, I captained SUNY Oneonta’s lacrosse team from 1994-1996, earning All-Conference honors and playing on the STX All-Star team in Australia. I’ve taught and coached at all levels, including as a head varsity lacrosse coach, and currently teach high school social studies. I also serve as an Ocean Rescue Supervisor for the Town of Brookhaven, a role I’ve held since 1988.
